Our commitment
Accessibility is not an afterthought here. Research by Robin is a practice built on the belief that services should work for everyone, and that starts with this website. I am committed to making researchbyrobin.co.uk accessible to all users, regardless of disability, device, or circumstance.
What this site does to support accessibility
- All text meets WCAG 2.2 AA colour contrast requirements, with most content exceeding AAA.
- The site is fully navigable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- A skip navigation link is provided to allow screen reader users to jump directly to the main content.
- All images have descriptive alternative text, or are marked as decorative where appropriate.
- The page uses semantic HTML landmarks: navigation, main, and footer, each with appropriate ARIA labels.
- The site respects the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem preference and disables all animations for users who have enabled this setting. - The site respects the
prefers-contrast: moresystem preference and increases contrast accordingly. - The layout is fully responsive and usable on screen sizes from mobile to large desktop.
- Font sizes are set in relative units to respect browser text size preferences.
Known limitations
This site is actively maintained and I take accessibility issues seriously. At the time of writing, I am not aware of any significant accessibility barriers. If you find something that does not work as expected, please tell me.

Technical information
This site is built with semantic HTML, CSS, and a small amount of vanilla JavaScript. It does not rely on JavaScript for core content or navigation. It has been tested in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, and with VoiceOver on macOS.
